The Four Pillars of The Cracked Door

Habakkuk 2:1-3(NLT) - I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Thank you for entering the Cracked Door. The concept of the Cracked Door came from a message that God gave to the founder of this movement, Donnell Duncan on the 29th of December, 2003 on a radio program called, “It's Your Date with Destiny”. Appropriately titled “If the Door is Cracked, the Door is Open” Donnell illustrated that there is a direct connection between keeping God's Word (The Bible) and opening doors.

If a person wants opportunities in life, he should keep God's Word and allow God to open the necessary doors based on the promises contained within His Word. In addition, how a person perceives the door determines his access to opportunities. Every human being views a certain level of resistance as a closed door, and in the same way, we all view the size of an opening differently.

The Cracked Door Foundation Inc was officially launched in 2006. It has grown into an international organization with a myriad of initiatives which help people develop both naturally and spiritually using Biblical principles. This ministry is built on the following pillars.

1 Knowing God through His Word.

Isaiah 50:4(NLT) - The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.

2 Knowing God through prayer.

Psalm 27:8(NLT) - My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

3 Obeying God's directions.

Job 23:11-12(NLT) - For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food.

4 Serving God's people.

Matthew 23:11-12(NLT) - The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
