The Four Pillars of The Cracked Door

Habakkuk 2:1-3(NLT) - I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

As this ministry expands, it's necessary for me to share the founding principles upon which it is based. From the beginning, it's been written on my heart but now I can't assume that anyone knows or understands what we're doing here. As a result, I hope you take the time to read through this short list in its entirety as we unite to make an impact on this earth.

The Four Pillars of The Cracked Door

1 Knowing God through His Word.

Isaiah 50:4(NLT) - The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.

2 Knowing God through prayer.

Psalm 27:8(NLT) - My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

3 Obeying God's directions.

Job 23:11-12(NLT) - For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food.

4 Serving God's people.

Matthew 23:11-12(NLT) - The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
