Spiritual Transformation

2 Corinthians 3:17-18(KJV) - Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

When God created man in Genesis 1:26-28, He made another version of Himself. Adam and Eve were in His image and just like Him. They were the ultimate “God” clones who looked and imitated their Creator. Not just that but while The Father was God of heaven, He made man god of the earth. Unfortunately, in Genesis 3, they lost it all when the devil fooled them into giving it to him. It took over 4000 years for God's plan of redemption to be executed through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus but it's done now. Now, even though we were delivered instantly by Jesus from the curse that came through Adam, it takes a process of recovery to eliminate the “ill effects” of it.

This is where Spiritual Transformation steps into the forefront. When The Father was ready to restore order to the earth in Genesis 1:2, The Spirit of The Lord hovered over it. Now that The Father is ready to restore order to your earthen vessel, The Spirit is hovering over your heart. He holds the key to the transformation you seek and has the ability to restore the perfect image of God in every area of your life. He first moved over the formless earth to prepare it to receive God's Word and must move over your heart also. In conclusion, the words on the pages of The Bible must be combined with power of The Holy Spirit for lasting change to occur.
