Living With Purpose

Living With Purpose

Last night was the 2nd session of The Cracked Door Conference. Once again, The Lord moved in a mighty way. Here are just a few scriptures from last night for you to meditate on today.

Matthew 7:21-23(KJV) - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:21-23 – God only wants people who do His Will in His Kingdom

Acts 13:22(KJV) - And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Acts 13:22 – The man who does God's Will is the man who is after God's heart.

Proverbs 19:21(KJV) - There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.

Proverbs 19:21 – Only God's Will will last. Everything else you do is a waste.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15(KJV) - According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15 – You will only be rewarded for doing God's Will

Understanding The Body Of Christ

Understanding The Body Of Christ

Last night was the first night of The Cracked Door Conference 2013 and without question we had a supernatural encounter with The Lord. After an intense session of worship in song, The Lord spoke to us all through the message, "The Anatomy of The Body of Christ". I'll share with you a few highlights that stuck with me from the message.

1 Corinthians 3:9(KJV) - For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

1 Corinthians 3:9 – We, The Church constitute God's building project

1 Corinthians 12:12-21(KJV) - For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26 – God has put each part of His Body where He wants

Ephesians 4:11-16(KJV) - And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:11-16 – Each person is responsible for a piece of God's plan

The Body of Christ consists of many parts and you are one of them. It is your responsibility to do what you were born to do because all the rest of us are depending on you. Are you doing your part? If yes, be faithful right where The Lord has placed you and if not, it's a new year and you have a fresh start. Commit this year to doing what God has called you to do. It affects all of us. Do you want to discover what God has called you to do? Don't miss tonight's session. Join us live at 7:00 PM TT (8:00 PM ET) at the website for Divine Destiny Worship Centre.

Start The Year Off Right

Start The Year Off Right

Isaiah 43:18-19(KJV) - Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

It's a brand new year and for you it can also be a brand new start. It's time to quit worrying about what went wrong in 2012 and focus on 2013. You can't change anything that took place already. You can only change your future by the decisions you make in your present. God is ready to do a new thing so let go of the old and embrace what's He has for you.

Take a few minutes today to write down a few goals for the year. What do you want to accomplish? Do you have some career goals or maybe academic goals? Maybe you're looking at getting a new job or finally receiving that promotion you've been desiring. Maybe you're considering finishing school or doing better than you've ever done in your current classes.

Do you have some relationship goals? Maybe you're a guy and it's time for pop the question and take it to the next level. Maybe you need to cut a relationship and move on with your life. Do you have some character goals? Maybe you need to address certain character flaws and start doing things right. Maybe you couldn't fix certain issues in 2012 but now it's your time.

Joshua 1:8(KJV) - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

One of my goals for this year is to spend more time in God's Word because it's the foundation for my success. I'm not sure if this made your list but it should be somewhere near the top. Meditate in God's Word everyday, do what it says, make your way prosperous and have good success in 2013. Set your goals at the beginning of this year and start the year off right.
