The War For Your Soul

Video streaming by Ustream

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation. - 1 Peter 2:11-12 NKJV

Tapping Into The Anointing

The Anointing is the result of The Holy Spirit resting upon someone's life. As a result, when you see The Anointing in action, you see The Holy Spirit. So to recognize The Anointing you just need to recognize the presence of The Holy Spirit. That can be interpreted in many ways. On a deeply spiritual level, The Holy Spirit inside of you will recognize The Holy Spirit inside of someone else. Hence, you can discern whether The Holy Spirit is moving through someone or not. However, everyone's not that deep so let's make it really simple.

Welcome To The Last Days

When will The Resurrection take place? Will The Antichrist be an actual person? Is there a connection between The Outpouring of The Holy Spirit and the return of Jesus Christ?

How can The Anointing be lost?

This week's video series is based on our blog series on The Anointing. If you're interested in going deeper into this material, click to access the blog; "The Heart of The Anointing."

1 John 2:27(KJV) - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

So what is the anointing?

The Greek word used here is chrisma (khris'-mah) which means an unguent or smearing, i.e. (figuratively) the special endowment ("chrism") of the Holy Spirit:

The Heart of The Anointing

1 Samuel 16:1,14 (NLT) - Now the LORD said to Samuel, “You have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel, so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there, for I have selected one of his sons to be my king.”.... Now the Spirit of the LORD had left Saul, and the LORD sent a tormenting spirit that filled him with depression and fear.

Do you know that at one time Saul was God's anointed? Do you also know that the time came when he no longer qualified to be God's anointed? When Saul's character fell below God's standard God took His Spirit off of Saul and with it went the anointing to be king. This is a deeply personal message because I've seen this happen. God's gifts are free and are ours to keep but His anointing comes with a very high price. It's a privilege to be God's anointed. It's not something to be taken lightly.

The Best Don't Always Win

Ecclesiastes 9:11(NLT) - I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.

Hard work pays but it doesn't always pay well. Work smart! - Anonymous

Do you know that many of the hardest working people struggle all of their lives and never get ahead? You can work as hard as you like but that doesn't guarantee success. Unfortunately for some and fortunately for others, success comes from what you know, who you know, how you're positioned and how you leverage those three factors. It is about strategic moves, strategic connections and strategic preparation. That's what works and it's supported by The Bible!

Watch the video, take notes and share it with others you care about! May God bless you on your journey to success!

The War For Your Soul

At Creation, God breathed life (Spirit) into man creating a Supernatural Being.

At The Fall, man cut himself off from The Breath of God (Spirit) limiting himself to his natural being (Soul).

Through Jesus, God's Breath (Spirit) was made freely available again.

1 Corinthians 15:45(KJV) - And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul (psuche); the last Adam was made a quickening spirit (pneuma).

Adam was given life by God (psuche), Jesus was given the ability to give life (pneuma).

We sincerely pray that God ministers to your heart with this weekly workshop on The Supernatural.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23(NLT) - 19 Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ. 20 When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law. 21 When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ. 22 When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. 23 I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.
